A fun little video commissioned by the V&A to accompany their exhibition Design, Play, Disrupt, which featured our work Bush Bash. This was shot behind the bar where I made many, many controllers, but in hindsight I should have shot it while we were open and I was dealing with customers for the full effect.
One of the journal videos I made while travelling in 2015, this shows the very first Now Play This in London. I was asked to enhance the installations so I took rubbish from the skip bins of Sommerset House, "modified" them at the airbnb, and exhibited them as controllers over the weekend before they wound up back in the skip. Good times!
Back in 2014 for the first SK Games birthday we took over a venue called the Bakery (r.i.p.) and put on a night of games and music. It's such a simple concept, show local games alongside local bands, but it's incredibly fun and brings together communities in a wonderful way.
